dark blue spaceSupervision (Interactional) Needs of the Four Styles
I’ve had this piece of paper tucked inside my bible for the last 20 years. It has been one of the most useful and helpful pieces of paper I’ve ever owned. It is NOT my work. In fact it was so long ago I can’t even remember who gave it to me or in what context it was given. If you know where it comes from please let me know. I’d love to read more from the author and will happily acknowledge their work.
It helps me (among other things) not only recognise the way that I most like to be supervised (and left alone) but it shows me that not everyone is the same as me, and just because one style of feedback or supervision works for me doesn’t mean it will work everyone (anyone?) else.
I looked for it on someone else’s website but couldn’t find it, so I’ve typed it up. and make it available here as a PDF.
Where are you?
As you can see, I like having a blog, I just don’t use it much.
If you’re looking for me, I mostly post to Facebook (ralph.reilly) or as Servants.Australia

Let there be … Stuff?
Story of Stuff + GreenFaith 6 week curriculum for teenagers.
Over the past five years, the pace and scope of religious engagement on the environment has accelerated sharply. The Story Of Stuff Project experienced this phenomenon first hand when they releasedThe Story of Stuff in late 2007. Almost immediately, faith leaders started calling and writing to ask if they had produced companion educational programs for churches or other houses of worship. Then last year, they partnered with GreenFaith-an interfaith coalition for the environment-to meet this need.
This 6-week series for teenagers of faith is designed to help them understand the problems the planet is facing, raise awareness of the changes needed and empower them to develop environmentally sustainable patterns of consumption that honor creation and deepen their spiritual lives. Its chock full of hands-on exercises, thought-provoking questions and great group activities.
