Computer consulting?

I did three hours work the other day for some friends from church.

I looked through their hard drive partitions to make sure that all their data was being backed up to their new external hard drive. I fixed a few annoying mis-configurations that had crept into their Windows OS and I advised them on specs for a new system.

And yes, that took just over three hours.

I’m not sure I can make a living out of this.
